Designer and Director Maxine Hall says:
“ To work with this renowned collection has been an immense privilege and at times I have felt a heady responsibility to do justice to these precious and iconic artefacts. A couple of my highlights were reworking two of Adam’s illustrations that never came to realisation until now, embedded in ‘Fresco’.
The other was working with and taking out segments from Canaletto’s paintings of Venice and reassembling them for the background of ‘Capriccio’. Our design approach isn’t to copy existing motifs it’s a creative process of dismantling, reassigning and combining to create works of art in their own right.”
