The Passion for Pink 

Whether you’re team Barbie, team Sindy or have no interest in poseable fashion dolls whatsoever, the summer of love for brand Barbie is well and truly here. Whilst we might be more inclined towards Oppenheimer oursleves, the all consuming passion for pink feels everso slightly infectious and there’s no denying that pink has had a resurgence and a warm acceptance throughout the interiors world in the last few years.

Pink is the colour for the expression of emphatic and nurturing love - surely a fabulous thing? Warm soft pinks are physically soothing, cool tones like magenta are stimulating. One shade of pink - P-618 [Baker-Miller pink] is so effective at lowering blood pressure, heart rate and aggression levels, that prison cells across Europe are painted in it.
