Collectors Collection
Blackpop has undoubtedly created its most opulent & dramatic work to date working in collaboration with the Sir John Soane's Museum. Directly reworking architects’ drawings, paintings and objects d'art, the 'Collectors' Collection consists of 5 wallpaper designs, 4 fabric designs and 2 hand woven rugs, each with its own story to tell.
These two designs, Hampton Hex and Hampton Gold were created from Sir John Soane's and Richard Adam's architectural drawings and a sketch design
for the ceiling of the Queen's State Bedchamber
at Hampton Court Palace, 1715, by Sir James Thornhill.

'A couple of my highlights were reworking two of Adam’s illustrations that
never came to realisation until now, embedded in ‘Fresco’.
